Parade starts at 10:30 am in beautiful downtown Etna.

Cowboy Church will be held at 11am in the upper softball field located next to the arena. Everyone is welcome to attend. Drew Travis (530) 468-2410

Pre Rodeo Youth Event Sign-Up’s are by CALL IN ONLY (see May Rodeo call-in times below) Youth events start at 12 Noon.  Contestants must wear & provide their own helmet, riding gear & rodeo attire.

Youth Events, Ages, Fees & Awards (NO Payout to youth events)
Mutton Busting (0-7) $20 – Buckle (20 entries)
Kids Calf Riding (8-12) $20-Buckle (21 entries)
Jr. Steer Riding(13-17) $35-Buckle(14 entries)

May Rodeo Slack will start at 8am, pre-rodeo at 12 noon & the main performance at 1:00pm. This will once again be a Non-Sanctioned Open Rodeo. All contestants must be in rodeo attire of long sleeve shirt, jeans, boots & cowboy hat to compete.

Main Rodeo Entry Fees:
One time office fee: $15 per contestant. $45 per event, per contestant.

Buckles will be awarded in each event

  • Ranch Bronc Riding
  • Bull Riding
  • Open Team Roping (go twice)
  • Mix Team Roping (go twice)
  • Calf Roping
  • Steer Wrestling
  • Girls Barrel Racing
  • Girls Breakaway
  • Wild Saddle Cow ($100 per team) Costumes required. $100 Bonus for the team with the BEST

Rodeo Gate Admission: For Non-Members: Rodeo admission is $10 for adults and Kids 12 & over. $5 for seniors (65+) and kids 8-12, and free to kids 7 & under.
