McCloud River Mountain Music 2024 Season – June 8, July 13, Aug 2 & 23, Sept 13

Settle in for a full night of live country music at the McCloud River Bed & Breakfast. The show goes from 7-9 pm and dinner is served from 5 – 6:30pm. There are even more concerts in the fall.

Trails End Music Festival – June 28-29

Mt. Shasta Concert Series 2024 – July 7, 14, 21 & 28, Aug 4 & 11

Now in its 10th anniversary season, this popular concert series has earned quite the following. Head in for some incredible rock and Americana music set in the rich, natural beauty of Mt. Shasta.

Scott Valley Blue Grass Festival – July 19-21

If you love bluegrass, then book your calendar now. The Scott Valley Bluegrass Festival gathers some of the finest musicians in the country for a weekend of live music, stories, food and an evening jam in downtown Etna. Hearing is believing. Tickets are $20 for adults, $17 for teens. Camping is allowed and yes, you should bring a tent.

CELEBRATIONS

Golden City Days – June 15-16

Come celebrate the unique history of Yreka during the Golden City Days street festival. Groove out to live music like the Main Street Band, Jessie Leigh, Mark Mackay and Native American Drum Performers: Earth Circle Down. Nosh on local cuisine from local food trucks. You can even take a carriage ride. It’s the perfect weekend.

Mount Shasta 4th of July Street Faire – July 3 – 6

This Fourth of July, Mt. Shasta will host three days of celebrations. The chamber kickoff will be on the 3rd, followed by a run-walk, parade, and fireworks over Lake Siskiyou on the 4th. On the 5th and 6th, street vendors and live music will be in town.

Mount Shasta 4th of July Walk & Run – July 4

What better way to celebrate the fourth than running (or walking) through the streets of one of the most charming towns in Northern California. Choose from three levels – a 2-mile youth race, 2-mile fun walk and a 5-mile race. The competition starts early so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the holiday. All proceeds go right back into this beautiful community.

Lumberjack Fiesta Days – July 26-29

Channel your inner Paul Bunyan and check out Lumberjack Fiesta Days. This annual festival honors Siskiyou County’s rich logging heritage and community spirit. Held in beautiful McCloud, you’ll experience traditional lumberjack competitions like logging, axe throwing and more. There’s plenty of live music, food trucks and even a parade. Fun for all ages.

SPORTS TOURNAMENTS

Sluice Box Sling Disc Golf Tournament – June 15

This first annual tournament will bring together disc golf enthusiasts from near and far to compete against a stunning mountain backdrop. They’ll test their accuracy as they sling discs around the challenging course at Upper Greenhorn Park. This is an all-day event with one round in the morning and a second after lunch. When amazing skills meet amazing views, you want to be there.

Mt. Shasta Pickleball Club Tournament – June 28 – 30

Show off your pickleball skills at this tournament at the Mt. Shasta Resort. It’s a stunning venue filled with the friendliest of people. The tournament will follow a round-robin format for skills 3.0 to 4.5+ with different age divisions as well.

CAR SHOWS

Yreka Elks Lodge #1980 Father’s Day Car Show – June 15 – 16

This event is an ode to dads and all the things they love. On Saturday night, there’ll be a sock hop dance on Broadway from 8 pm – 11 pm with live music by the River Rock Band. Sunday starts with a pancake breakfast and a car show at Miner Street Park from 9 am—4 pm. There will also be a tri-tip lunch, chili cook-off, and live music by Jimmy Limo during the event.

Motor The Mountain Car Show – Aug 17

It might be the most stunning car show in the country. Not only will you see jaw-dropping cars -both restored and new – you’ll see them at Hoo Hoo Park, one of the most beautiful parks in Siskiyou County. Rev your engines with car-watching, an award show, live music, beer and a pancake breakfast from 7am to 10 am.
