The 10th Annual Apple Harvest Festival will be held on October 12th from 10AM to 4PM on Main Street in historic downtown McCloud.
The festivities begin with an Apple Pie baking competition, where the winner has an opportunity to receive a triumphant basket of goodies filled with gift certificates and other souvenirs specific to our area. Bring your homemade apple pies to the registration booth no later than 10:45AM to be entered for the panel of judges!
One of the main attractions is the street fair, where vendors line the streets, selling everything from handmade crafts to locally produced goods. For the little ones, there is a dedicated kids’ area with various games and activities. Music lovers will be delighted by the live entertainment throughout the festival. Local bands and performers take the stage, filling the air with joyful melodies. Food enthusiasts will be in paradise at the Apple Harvest Festival. From caramel apples to apple cider donuts, the event offers a wide array of apple-themed treats. Local food vendors also serve up a variety of delicious dishes, showcasing the region’s culinary specialties.
Enjoy live music by TBD along Main Street as you and your company cruise the vendors, pick an orange friend to take home from the “Pumpkin Patch” up at the lawn of McCloud River B&B, and snap a photo at the cute vignette area. Taste pressed apple juice at the bonafide press in our “Watch & Learn” lawn, also in up at the McCloud River B&B.
Give your full bellies and tired feet a rest while on a nostalgic horse & wagon ride about town, basking in the autumn glory of this quaint haven’s changing leaves, crisp air, dainty streets, and friendly townspeople. Children’s passes will be available for purchase to include many of these offerings.
