Bold Printmakers from Japan, known for pushing the boundaries of printmaking, will be exhibiting this December at Liberty Arts. Prestigious winners of many international awards, these artists have advanced printmaking to a whole new level. Influential in the modern art world, 17 artists will be exhibiting 42 of their most recent works. A variety of techniques have been used blending old world with new. To have this inspirational show in Yreka is a treasure, a reaching of hands across the Pacific in hopes of inspiring better understanding and communication in this confusing world. The opening reception will be Friday, December 9th, from 5pm to 7pm and the works will be on display until January 12th.
