Performance & Music Release Party
Acoustic jazzy and soulful duo, Allison Scull and Victor Martin, celebrate the release of new recording, Nation of Jubilation during Dunsmuir’s 10th Annual Jazz in the Canyon. A performance and party is slated for Saturday, September 30th, 7pm at Pops Performing Arts and Cultural Center, in Dunsmuir’s historic district.
According to Martin, “it took a while for the final product to reach the finish line. The album was a longer journey than the others to finish,The recording process started before the pandemic and it features more Redding area musicians. It’s more soulful and jazzy, nd reflects our growth, musically.” Aside from Allison Scull performing on guitar and vocals and Victor on sax and vocals. the recording features the ever-steady Mr. Bruce Calin on stand-up bass, Mike Harris on percussion, Patrick Wiseman on drums, and Stefan Schittko on keyboards. All the way from Mazatlan, Mexico Ignacio “Nacho” Chaves is featured on guitar on the title track.
