Tyler Mansfield on guitar and Joshua Cannan on tenor sax make up the Supertonic Jazz Duo. Both grew up in the Redding area and play in local funk powerhouse Soul Punch, and also enjoy  collaborating with many other Redding-area musicians. The duo performs jazz standards and pop covers with a jazz and sometimes latin flair. Earlier this year, Supertonic Jazz had the opportunity to perform at the Fillmore Jazz Festival in San Francisco. Influences include Joshua Redman, Charlie Hunter, and Greg Takemoto.
