Pacific Forest Trust will be hosting an end-of-season hiking tour of McCloud Soda Springs, a working forest with abundant wildlife habitat, at 10 AM on Saturday, November 9th. The tour is open to the public.
McCloud Soda Springs is a 1,346-acre working forest owned by Schroll Timberlands LLC and permanently preserved by a conservation easement held by the Pacific Forest Trust. Attendees will visit a diverse array of habitats, including mixed conifer forest, riparian and wetland habitats, an aspen regeneration site, and a natural soda spring on the edge of a beautiful beaver pond.
