Trail Stewardship Summit Workshop
The U.S. Forest Service is hosting a two day workshop with partners to discuss opportunities, process, and share the fundamentals of trail assessment and maintenance. The first day will include discussions around trail classifications, trail management objectives, agreements, adopt-a-trail, communication and discuss next steps to progress with creating and implementing a sustainable trail program. Target Audience: This training event will be focused on developing the core skills necessary for identifying and solving basic trail maintenance issues. It is intended for participants with a basic understanding of sustainable trail fundamentals.
As space is limited, we ask that participants that plan to attend also be willing to commit to regular trail maintenance activities in the area.
