]]> Pizza could be considered a love language in Siskiyou. Every one of our distinct pizza places below has perfected the classics and also incorporates something unique to their crowd-pleasing pies. Let’s take a tour around Siskiyou and tell you why these pizza spots are considered “fantastico”!

Denny Bar Co.

Tucked in the North Siskiyou town of Etna, Denny Bar Co. is a distillery, sit-down restaurant, AND hidden pizza gem! Their custom-built massive wood-fired oven is front and center as you enter the establishment, and their signature pies are as creative as they are crispy. Denny Bar Co. is a great spot for a cheesy slice after a day out on the trail!

Recommendation: Try the Burrata, Pepperoni and Hot Honey, what’s not to love about this combo?!

Smoked Tomato Pie

You notice the intoxicating smell of pizza right when you walk in. Quality of ingredients is what sets STP apart from the other options in Yreka. From the tomatoes to the house smoked chicken and pork, all the way to the hand filled cannoli, you can’t go wrong! Smoked tomato pie has a casual and friendly atmosphere that is great for groups, and they host local musicians regularly.

Recommendation: PPP: Smoky pulled pork, pineapple and peppers. They infuse the sauce with pineapple juice and smoked jalapenos and drizzle everything with BBQ Sauce!

Sparky’s Landing

Hand tossed dough and a wood fired oven, no wonder Sparky’s can produce up to 300 pizzas in a night! This downtown Mt Shasta restaurant specializes in craft cocktails, pastas, and steaks but we have our eyes (and tastebuds) focused on their insanely good pies. While Mt Shasta has a few options, we are currently swooning over Sparky’s Landing!

Recommendation: THE GOAT: Garlic olive oil, cheese blend, Goat Cheese, prosciutto, Caramelized onions, topped with balsamic glaze. Can we say YUM!

Pizza Factory

For over 40 years, Pizza Factory in Dunsmuir has been serving up their tasty hand-tossed pizzas. Their motto proudly declares “We Toss’em, They’re Awesome,” and they don’t lie. A mom-and-pop atmosphere and friendly service is the testament to why this pizzeria has been serving the people of Dunsmuir and its visitors for over four decades!

Recommendation: ALL MEAT: Piled high with Canadian bacon, salami, pepperoni, ham, signature sausage, and bacon! Bring your appetite!

When you open the door – you will fall in love with the views, the energy and peaceful feeling greeting you. Completely remodeled, new wood floors thru-out, paint, new countertops, whole new bathroom/shower/bath. New furniture, all new bedding, This home is GORGEOUS! Front bedroom has a queen bed with comfortable pillow top mattress. middle bedroom has a two sets of bunks with toys/games for kids. Tub with beach towels/toys if you go to Lake. Master suite has King bed, beautifully decorated – flat screen TV. Full Bath off the master. There is a queen sofa sleeper. 60″ Flat screen in living room. There is a dining room and breakfast table in kitchen. Kitchen is very well stocked with T-fal pots/pans, Keurig, regular coffee maker, crockpot, rice maker, wok, electric skillet and all glassware, bakeware, dishes and silverware you need. The entire home has wood floors and all new bedding and decor. Beautiful and has most fabulous views of surrounding views and of Mt Shasta from the rear deck. The kitchen is completely stocked with everything to make gourmet meals including all basic spices, some condiments and placemats. All towels and linens are new.  Outside picnic table for outside dining on side garden patio. Included is basket for BBQ tools, tablecloth and outside dinnerware. There is a 60inch flat screen in living room with a Dish Network TV package and strong internet. There are doggie bowls and treats for your dogs. Please keep them off beds and furniture and clean up yard area. We have tried to make this home a clean, very comfortable space to enjoy your vacation. We sincerely hope you enjoy your stay. I grew up in Mt Shasta and would be happy to recommend places to go , dining options to general information. If you decide to purchase property here, I am Owner Broker of Century 21 here in town and also own and manage Mt Shasta Vacation Rentals. Guest access, the entire home and deck. Please enjoy the gardens and lawn but be remindful that there is a crystal shop at ground level and two small cottages in the rear of property. Access home in front stairs. Light will be on for you! I am available to help you in any way.  The neighborhood, There is a fabulous deli-gourmet food market across the street! Get wines, yummy sandwiches, BBQ and much more. Walk to restaurants, shops and crystal shops. Getting around, you can walk everywhere!!!!  Other things to note, Do not park on the public street if it snows or you know it will be snowing later in the night. The snowplows come thru and they may tow your car. You need to park in the back alley or in the public parking space at the corner.

Located in a quiet neighborhood in North Dunsmuir, you can access the City Pool and Botanical Gardens which are just short hop away. Large Living room with rock fireplace, flat screen and slider out to the deck for BBQ time and relaxing under the trees. The kitchen is set up for some party time with a wine fridge and keg cooler – it is stocked with everything you need for the Big Game or weekend gatherings. There are two bedrooms and two full bath downstairs – One bedroom has queen bed and other has King with full bath. (bathroom floors are heated)  Upstairs is two more bedrooms and half bath with a family room and large flat screen. Please note there are some additional fee’s for Pet cleaning. Pet $40 per pet up to two.   Hot tub is now free.

There is a trail to the river down the hillside.  The train follows the river up the canyon so bring ear plugs
if you are sensitive at night.

Some of the best North State restaurants are located just a short drive a
way:  The Cornerstone, Seng Thong’s, The Wheel House, The Dunsmuir Brewery Works and Yaks.

There are great fishing holes and The Fly Shop in Dunsmuir as well as great swimming holes for the
summer time.

Located at the base of Mt Shasta in McCloud, this vacation property has 9 renovated cabins with vaulted ceilings, cedar beams, mountain modern finishes and locally reclaimed hardwood floors. They sleep between 2-12 guests in each cabin. This would be an ideal location for a retreat or group trip as the cabins offer individual privacy, but also have common areas and a great place to congregate with friends or family. This particular spot is close to lots of outdoor recreation, so you don’t have to go far to immerse yourself in nature. Join Siskiyou Land Trust (SLT) and the Mount Shasta Bioregional Ecology Center (MSBEC) for a day of exploration at SLT’s Luginbuhl Ranch Preserve, a 320-acre property at the intersection of the Upper Sacramento and Shasta River headwaters. This headwaters forest is not just a piece of property though – it is a living legacy of local conservation and stewardship. We’ll enjoy guided walks by SLT staff and interpreters followed by a continuation of our bioblitz, cataloging species on iNaturalist. At noon, we’ll meet back at the Luginbuhl Cottage for a small BBQ (hot dogs/burgers/veggie options and their fixings).

Welcome to Shasta Harmony! if you want a vacation stay in the perfect cottage, this is it!! right in town, stunning Mt Shasta Views and all brand new interior!!! There are four vacation rentals in Chestnut Village. Shasta Harmony enjoys it’s own private deck and fenced yard space. pet friendly.
New Kitchen, new bathroom, new flooring, new furniture, paint, new windows, all new decor. Modern Farmhouse decor. its gorgeous!!!
It is quiet and has a wonderful deck in back with incredible Mt Shasta views!. There is a crystal/rock shop next door with another vacation rental above it. This makes it handy for larger groups to rent both spaces…that unit is called “Shasta Star”. two small dogs are permitted with $40 pet fee per dog.
The location makes it perfect to walk everywhere in town quiet easily.
There is a Fabulous Supermarket across the street with BBQ, sammies, wine, gourmet items, vegies. Walk to shops, restaurants, big sunroom in front, wonderful patio with BBQ in back with Mt Shasta Views.
There are about six stairs leading to front door of Shasta Harmony and no stairs within the cottage.
There is a bright small sunroom as you walk with in the front door with a wicker table and two wicker chairs. Pull down bamboo shades give privacy.
The living room is comfortable with a sofa sleeper queen. All bedding for the sofa sleeper is provided. It has a blow up mattress with electric blow machine. Flat screen tv with satellite DISH programming package and strong internet.
The kitchen is sunny with big Mt Shasta views from the kitchen window. There is an eating bar with four bar stools. The kitchen is stocked with all cook ware, utensils, glassware, including bar ware, placemats, and dish towels. Also paper towels and napkins. Keurig coffee maker, regular coffee maker, bakeware, salad bowl, bowls, baking sheets, hand mixer, microwave, full oven, rice maker, toaster, plates and bowls, bread maker. All plates and dishes. Also bowls, strainer, can opener, wine opener.dishwasher. Ice cube trays. Regular sized fridge with freezer. There are basic herbs and spices and I include some coffee, creamer and Splenda. Teas also. There is foil, Saran Wrap, zip locks and dish soap, garbage bags for trash.
The queen beds are all new with high quality bedding. Each have 3″ memory foam toppers, comforters and down feather pillows among regular pillows. They are super comfortable!!! Each bedroom has a large dresser and one bedroom has a closet.
All new quality thick Egyptian cotton bath towels. Bathroom has blow dryer, curling iron and iron. shower only. Shampoos, soap and lotions are provided.
There is a shared laundry room with washer and dryer with laundry soap and fabric sheets provided.
The rear deck is wonderful with stunning views of Mt Shasta. There is a patio table set with umbrella and four chairs. Gas BBQ. Two additional chairs for relaxing. Twinkle lights in the trees, professionally landscaped with dry river rock creek bed and lots of flowers. Plenty of grass in the very large shared yard. Please keep pooches on leashes even tho the property is fenced.
Parking is in front on the street. While Mt Shasta is relative safe, please lock your car and bring valuables inside.
Smoking isn’t permitted inside but you make smoke outside on deck area.
As a courtesy.250.00USD fee will apply to rooms where smoking of cigarettes, cigars, cannabis, vaping or other is detected. A cleaning fee may also apply if home is unusable due to excessive pet odors/damage. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds, extra fees will apply if pet hair is found on furniture or bedding. Pets are not allowed to be left alone in the home. Guest will be charged extra if they do not clean up outside after their pets!!
