SUMMARY:12th Annual Apple Harvest Festival
DESCRIPTION:The 12th Annual Apple Harvest Festival will be held on October 10th from 10AM to 4PM on Main Street in historic downtown McCloud. \n​ \nThe festivities begin with an Apple Dessert competition\, where the winner has an opportunity to receive a custom gift from one of our vendors and a gift certificate to a McCloud business. Bring your homemade apple desserts to the registration booth no later than 10:45AM to be entered for the panel of judges!  \nCelebrate the best of the season with a full harvest of fun\, food\, and fall festivities for all ages! \n​ \nLIVE MUSIC \nThis year’s Apple Harvest Festival is turning up the fun with live music all day! We will be posting soon regarding our musical guests! \n​ \n​​​ \nFOOD & DRINKS \n​There will be food trucks serving up something for every taste\, so bring your appetite. The beer booth will feature the usual favorites\, plus a couple special options selected just for the festival. \n​ \nARTISAN VENDORS \n​From handcrafted jewelry and pottery to unique art\, natural skincare\, and one-of-a-kind gifts – you’ll find something special made with heart by makers and creatives. If you are interested in being a vendor for this event\, click on the link/s below. \n​ \nFAMILY FUN \nRound up the kiddos and have your camera ready! Smiles are guaranteed at this festival. Enjoy the pumpkin patch\, a petting zoo\, face painting\, a puppet show\, wagon rides\, fresh pressed apple cider\, and so much more! \n​ \nAPPLE DESSERT CONTEST \n​Do you have a secret apple pie recipe? A show-stopping apple crumble? A caramel apple creation that people beg for? \nPut your skills to the test at our Apple Dessert Contest! Local celebrity judges will rate dishes by such categories as appearance\, originality\, and of course\, TASTE! The chef deemed to have the best dish will receive a custom gift from an artisan vendor and a gift from a McCloud business. All desserts must be at the registration booth no later than 10:45am to be entered. Winners will be announced in the early afternoon. Please do not bring in dishes that you need to get returned OR be sure to be there after the contest to retrieve yours\, we cannot be responsible for dishes left. \n​ \nHOMEMADE APPLE PIES FOR SALE & FRESH APPLES FOR THE TAKING \nHomemade pies\, baked fresh and full of flavor\, will be available to purchase at the festival.
