DESCRIPTION:The rink is 85 feet wide by 200 feet long – making it the only National Hockey League regulation-sized outdoor rink in California. Skating in an open-air rink is a thrill\, especially with the magnificent Mt. Shasta scenery surrounding you! \nWe are a completely outdoor facility! So while our goal is to be open 7 days a week\, be sure to check the weather and give us a call before you make the trip. \nWe accept credit card and cash for admissions and skate rentals. \nThe Snack Shack\, a fundraiser for Friends of the Rink\, accepts cash only. \nSeason Passes available to purchase starting October 1st\, 2025 \n  \nThe rink may be forced to close at any time due to adverse weather conditions. Be sure to check the weather and call the rink at (530) 926-1715 before making the trip. See you on the ice!

DESCRIPTION:SUNDAY of LABOR DAY WEEKEND! \nThe Rotary Club of Mt. Shasta will host the 37th Mt. Shasta Blackberry Music Festival on Sunday\, August 31\, 2025 from noon – 6 PM. Check back here often as more event details are frequently added. \nThe event is held at beautiful Shastice Park with spectacular views of Mt. Shasta and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the scenery. Along with our famous and hugely popular blackberry pie sales\, music offerings\, and children’s games\, food and craft vendors will join us in the expanded space Shastice Park provides. \nThanks for leaving your pets at home for their safety and that of festival attendees. \nMt. Shasta Rotary uses the net funds raised from the festival to support a variety of community needs\, all tips support the Mt. Shasta High School Interact Club’s Service Projects. \n  \nThe heart of the Mt. Shasta Blackberry Music Festival is baked into our blackberry pies.
