We view not just stars! We view galaxies, nebulas, double stars, planets (when visible), planetary nebulas, and star clusters. There’s something fascinating for everyone – adults and children (with adult supervision). Come see the amazing celestial wonders of the night sky. You won’t be disappointed.
The star party location is extremely dark with Bortle 2 skies. The Milky Way can be seen from horizon to horizon. This is an extraordinary place and we invite everyone to join us to experience the wonders of the Cosmos from an elite viewing location. It even has excellent cell phone service! And this place is only about 30 to 45 minutes from the City of Mount Shasta, just a little past the City of McCloud. Our star parties are FREE for everyone whether you a a club member or not.
