Goosenest Trail
Up the side of the Goosenest is the Goosenest Trail. It is a short but very steep hike up the side of a volcano with a large crater. It is an outstanding view of Mt. Shasta. The hike is a loop and goes to the top, looping the crater and around the base of the mountain. Forest roads and trails are being used to navigate the volcano. You are allowed to bring dogs on the trail.
