Kangaroo Lake
Just 14.3 miles from Weed, California in Siskiyou is Kangaroo Lake. Located in the Klamath National ForestΒ it is aΒ 25 acreΒ reservoirΒ andΒ isΒ 110 feet deep.Β ThereΒ happens to beΒ a campgroundΒ if you want to camp that hasΒ 18 sites. Of the 18 sites, only 13Β are drive in and 5 are walk-in.Β There are alsoΒ restroomΒ facilities on the campground and a paved trail down to the lake.Β Motorless boats and fishing are permitted. There is no boat ramp.Β
