Marble Rim Gallery is pleased to once again feature the work of the talented and industrious nuns of the traditional Greek Orthodox Convent of St. Elizabeth in Etna. An opening reception will take place on First Friday, June 6, from 6 to 8 pm at Marble Rim Gallery, 11835 Main Street, Fort Jones. The show will remain on display from June 6 through 21.
To the delight of the community, several nuns participate in local art activities, showing their award-winning religious and secular artwork. This show will focus on Mother Justina’s and Mother Barbara’s paintings of landscapes and birds, works not seen recently at their May 2025 show at Liberty Arts Gallery in Yreka.
Marble Rim Gallery, 11835 Main, Fort Jones, is open Tues, Fri, and Sat 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
