Always research and plan ahead when exploring Siskiyou. Check the conditions and accessibility of any location before heading out as weather, roads, maintenance, or other factors may affect the status. Additionally, consult with the agency overseeing the land you wish to explore – County, State, or Federal – to ensure you have the most accurate and up-to-date information.
NOTE: Event details and postponements are constantly being updated in light of COVID-19. Please contact individual event organizers for details before making plans.
Saturday, June 22nd from 3-5pm, Location: Regenerative Arts Learning Center & Day Camp (behind Jefferson Center for the Arts in Mount Shasta)
Join us — Mount Shasta Bioregional Ecology Center (MSBEC),
Regenerative Arts Learning Center and Day Camp (RAD Camp) and
First 5 Siskiyou for this special family event and celebration!
On this longest day of the year, join other families in the spirit of reciprocity to
awaken our senses, make new friendships, walk and sit mindfully, and deepen
our connection with each other and nature. Enjoy a family meal with live music
and open mic, regenerative nature crafts, a seed swap, summer planting, and heartfelt discussions about how we can plant the seeds for a
brighter, more mindful future for our children as a community. Joyful activities
for children and their grown-up.
Your RSVP is appreciated to help in planning for food, but not necessary.
