Trinity Alps Wilderness
In the Trinity Alps Wilderness there are approximately 550 miles of trails around. A lot needs to be maintained, but the maintenance also varies on the patterns of the trails, wilderness preservation objectives, available funds, and volunteer. The trails on the Trinity Alps are steep, have few paths and others are well maintained routes. On some of the trails you may need to watch out for logs and many other obstacles through the year. There are very little trail signs in the wilderness areas to enhance the hiking in the wilderness experience, so bring a topographical map to know where you are.
