Autumn in Siskiyou is the time of year when the mornings are crisp and the afternoons are clear and warm. Visitors enjoy bottomless fall foliage and end each day with an epic sunset that paints the skies with shades of amber and amethyst. There is plenty of fun and a bit of magic to be had this season in Siskiyou.

WEST: Autumn Carriage and Pumpkin Carriage Rides

Enjoy a beautiful Autumn Carriage ride in historic downtown Fort Jones. Choose from several fun hats to wear. Tea and treats included. Reservations aren’t required but time slots do fill quickly.

Also offering rides in the magical pumpkin carriage at “Carriage Ride & Treat” on Friday, October 28th 4:00-6:00pm with treats for kids.

SOUTH: Oktoberfest Fundraiser for Wildfire Victims

Come enjoy the full menu plus some German specials as well as food trucks, craft beers, games, vendor booths and raffles. Music by Scott Derban, John Abbot and more! COS will be running a booth with some traditional Oktoberfest games. The entire event is family friendly, but guests must be over 21 to purchase alcohol.

The money raised at this event will be donated to those affected by the Wildfires in Siskiyou County through the COS Foundation.

SOUTH: Family Fall Festival and Boo Bash hosted by Mt Shasta Chambers

Bring the whole family down to the picturesque Mount Shasta Resort for Games, Pumpkin Painting, Treats, Music, Photo Ops, Bounce House and so much more!

21 and over folks are invited to boogie down later in the evening at the Boo Bash. There will be plenty of potions to drink, spells to be cast, and boogie the night away with other goblins and ghouls! No costume required but recommended for maximum fun. Acres and acres of pumpkins to choose from, all sizes and shapes, way too many varieties of winter squash, hay maze for the kids, apples, pears, fresh cider, jam, and fall holiday decorations.
