Jubilee Railroad Wilderness Lodge
This is a way-station place where travelers have passed for 7,000 – 10,000+ years along the Siskiyou Trail, and today via trains, the I-5, the Sacramento River, and the Mexico-to-Canada Pacific Crest Trail. We are a place to mingle for a moment and to remember the possibility of care between people, the water, and the land.
56 years ago, in 1968, this “railroad park” was created by moving original train cabooses into our spring-fed-stream valley and retrofitting them for sleeping, dining, and as a base to explore the wider region. As of January 2024, we have new ownership and have added the joy of Jubilee to become Jubilee Railroad. In 2024, and now too in 2025, we received the Traveler’s Choice award for consistently receiving top 10% reviews – thank you for the welcome!
Experience the Dining Car: a collection of eight authentic rail cars, including an original luxury “Pullman Club Car” from the 1800’s, AND a new vibe for the future. We are on a cosmic train, imagining a world that works for all of us, including our lands and water. Enjoy beautiful foods prepared with care in our galley kitchen. We aim for locally grown, or indigenous to the region, organic, and sourced from people we believe in. We offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, and both table service & take out. We have unique indoor Dining Car seating, and are the only place where you can dine directly under the Castle Crags. We often have live music or guest speakers, and always have a lot of joy! We hope you’ll feel welcome… and delighted.
Camp along a clear mountain creek in the pines known as Castle Creek. Find a nostalgic treasure in the gift shop or explore relics like the Willamette Shay gear-driven steam logging locomotive, the 1893 Wells Fargo Car, or the wooden snowplow and flanger. Enjoy hiking to the Hedge Creek Falls, fly fishing the beautiful Sacramento River Trail or bike riding to the historic railroad town of Dunsmuir – nearby activities are endless at Jubilee Railroad Wilderness Lodge.
